Essentially is working with two Springbok stalwarts, Victor Matfield and Bakkies Botha to bring to life their Blood Brothers Testimonial. The year will be a celebration of the huge commitment and success of these World Cup winners and record breaking lock combination.
At the Blood Brothers Testimonial Dinner on 23rd November at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, Matfield and Botha will share the evening with some of their fiercest rivals and closest teammates whilst raising money for their chosen charities, The Children’s Hospital Trust ( http://www.childrenshospitaltrust.org.za) and the Walter Sisulu Paediatric Cardiac Centre for Africa ( http://www.wspcca.org.za).
Martin Johnson has been confirmed as an attendee and will take part in one of the Q&A sessions on stage. With the event taking place just four days before England take on South Africa at Twickenham, a Q&A session between the current England Manager and the Springbok Captain (in the absence of the injured John Smit) will make for a very interesting and entertaining evening.
The equally towering Martin Bayfield will be hosting this evening of ‘Man Mountains’, guaranteeing an event graced by some of the greatest players in world rugby, past and present.
