Essentially help launch the RaboDirect PRO12
The renamed RaboDirect PRO12 tournament - rugby's premier professional club competition in Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales - welcomed the media to the Conrad Hotel in Dublin last Tuesday 23rd August to formally launch the season by unveiling the new trophy and introducing title sponsor, RaboDirect.
Players and coaches from all 12 participating teams were joined by rugby legend Andy Irvine, Chairman of RaboDirect PRO12; Roel van Veggel, General Manager of RaboDirect in Ireland; and John Feehan, Chief Executive of RaboDirect.
Essentially event managed all proceedings, flying in journalists, partner broadcasters, players and coaches from all regions, as well as coordinating a photo shoot with key players from each of the clubs.
The first round of matches open this weekend across the regions with all teams ultimately competing for a place in the Play Offs and Final in May. |
