Essentially supports Help for Heroes

On Wednesday 30th November Essentially successfully ran the Heroes Rugby Challenge Match Dinner in The Pavilion at the Tower of London. With over 400 people attending the dinner, including players and coaches from both the Southern and Northern Hemisphere teams the event was another great opportunity to raise money for Help for Heroes.

A luminescent performance from the 1st Battalion, Coldstream Guards, The Corps of Drums kicked the evening off. This was followed by a highly entertaining Q&A session from the Sothern Hemisphere coaches and selectors Michael Lynagh, Sean Fitzpatrick, Nick Mallett and World Cup winning coach Wayne Smith. Auctioneer, Jonny Gould, helped the cause by raising over £40,000 from guests. The night was rounded off by a Q&A with the Northern Hemisphere coaches and selectors Jason Leonard, Lawrence Dallaglio, Ieuan Evans, Dean Ryan and John Kirwan.

Saturday 3rd December, the Heroes Rugby Challenge Match kicked off with the invitational Southern and Northern Hemisphere teams playing each other at Twickenham to raise money on behalf of Help for Heroes.

Bart Campbell, acted as one of the selectors for the Southern Hemisphere team along with Michael Lynagh and Sean Fitzpatrick. Essentially was responsible for sourcing coaches including Wayne Smith, John Kirwan and Dean Ryan along with players such as Adam Thompson, Nicky Little, Sias Ebersohn and more.
