After graduating in History and German, Charlie joined an international firm of industrial auctioneers, managing their sales of surplus and redundant factory equipment throughout Germany.
He qualified as an accountant in 2003, after which he completed an MBA at ESADE business school in Barcelona specialising in strategy and finance, whilst learning Spanish.
Charlie joined Accounts Eight in 2006, an accounts practice whose client base includes software companies, art dealers, TV production companies, mail order retailers and publishing houses. After Accounts Eight was acquired by Essentially in 2007, he has continued to work on media clients whilst also taking responsibility for marketing, HR and strategic consulting.
Charlie now works with Essentially’s sports clients, running the players’ onshore image rights companies in addition to marketing Essentially’s bundled image rights scheme.
