David Ligertwood

 

Amongst other activities, athletes1 soon became the world’s most influential cricket agency, representing many of the world’s biggest names commercially and professionally. In 2007, athletes1 was acquired by Essentially and David now heads up the agency’s global cricket management business. David’s team at Essentially was instrumental in signing a large proportion of the overseas players to the IPL and continues to act for a large percentage of the world’s top players. David is an Operational Board Member of the Group and is heavily involved in the strategic development of Essentially’s wider cricket related activities.
