After been raised in Japan as a child Tim returned home to NZ to finish his high school education at Auckland Boy Grammar.
Tim then returned to Japan where he had a brief spell playing rugby before working as a translator for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ rugby program. Tim then returned to NZ where he enjoyed success as General Manager for a leading national golf retail chain.
Tim joined Essentially Group in 2001 and since that time has been responsible for placing well in excess of more than 200 clients into Japan. Tim is now fully entrenched as the number 1 rugby agent in Japan with an unrivalled knowledge of Japanese rugby, way of life in the intricacies of rugby companies.
Tim is fluent in Japanese and English and is well respected within the Japanese community in NZ and Japan.
