Warren studied at Otago University and qualified with a first class honours degree in law and an economics degree.
After completing his study, Warren accepted a position as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law at Otago where he taught law for 4 years before entering private practice as a Barrister and Solicitor.
Specialising in civil and criminal litigation, Warren became a partner in Dunedin law firm Gallaway Cook Allan. Whilst practicing he began representing rugby players when rugby first turned professional in 1995 and developed a significant legal career in sports law.
Having been involved in the establishment of Global Sports Management, Warren eventually retired from the law firm to work full time for Essentially Group. Regarded as the most experienced player agent in NZ he has provided advice to NZ ‘s most high profile rugby players and coaches on all aspects of their professional rugby careers.
Irrespective of whether a player is starting his career or is an established player Warren prides himself on ensuring all players get prompt, professional and expert service.
